So - what is this site? Why are you here? Where have all the developers gone? :-)

Okay - CATS was produced by a company building a Free ATS in a Community/Professional model. Unfortunately the Professional version wasn't sufficiently differentiated from the Community version, therefore they abruptly terminated both projects - overnight. From then on, the software was to only be available as an online service for ever more.

However - the license of the original version (the CPL) permitted it to be redistributed - and the OpenCATS project was born.

This site maintains, develops and redistributes that original community version. We have been requested to rename it - therefore it is now OpenCATS. It's a full ATS easily installable (and we're working on a live CD for demonstration purposes)

OSATS is the community version under development.
